    It looks like those two leaves are dead. I just don’t know if I should leave them or try to remove them and how.

      I’m pretty new to this and reckless (and not an expert) so take this with a grain of salt. I would disinfect a knife and slice the dead leaf off as close to the base without damaging the base. Speaking from experience, one time I left mine like that and l let the bad leaves die and I pulled them off. But my plant was never the same after that. And it ended up dying. But it could have been for an entirely different reason :)

    Brown mushy stalks are probably from overwatering, they like to dry out before watering. Agree about removing the damaged parts. Also check the base, if soft and mushy. I would also repot in drier soil.
