I know I've been posting a lot recently, asking for help... but, I need it. What can I do to help my pilea? I've had her for a while and this has never happened (where a bunch of leaves turn yellow and die). I'm going to repot her into a larger pot in hopes that helps!

It could just be that some leaves just die. It could be. She is overwatered or underwater, but I would check for pests. She also might need to be repotted, but I don’t really know.

I think having some leaves die and fall off is pretty common, it happens to mine too. I would make sure you aren’t over watering and it isn’t too close to sunlight (directly next to window).

I've had it hanging in the window for years, so that wasn't even my first thought- it's been ok for so long. Should I move it?

You can try and see if it improves. I had my in front of a window and I saw more leaves fall off than I did when I moved it away, but I think it just depends on how sensitive your plant is and your environment!

well first - does this plant like to be root bound? if so don’t repot and if the roots look good than don’t move it to a too big a pot. it will get root rot if the pot is too big

Leaves dying off on the bottom layers can be normal over time, but if you’re noticing something different than normal, it may need a change. Sounds like you’ve had it here for years- she may be ready for a larger pot if you’ve had it in that one for well over a year. In my experience, pileas are super dramatic after a repot, but be patient and it’ll bounce back. Be sure you use a good well-draining soil. 🙏🏼
