Last year I took a clipping of a prayer plant. I’m pretty sure it classifies as a lemon lime variety. I propagated it for about a year before planting. There was such extensive roots so I ended up having to split the root system three ways. The plants have been growing steadily over the past month and a half since being potted. However, the new leaves coming up don’t have the same coloring/pattern as the original leaves (can be seen in the second picture). Any thoughts about what I’m doing wrong or what is going on? (Pictures taken right after watering)

How large are your pots? What kind of light? Are you fertilizing?

Pots are about 4 inches since these were only planted a month ago. Mix of partial and full sun. Haven’t fertilized them yet.

I would definitely fertilize. The plants are adjusting so the first several weeks they just need a little extra TLC

I fertilized them yesterday so I will see how it goes. Thanks so much!

I wouldn’t recommend giving them full sun. In my experience happier in bright indirect light or even shade. But also keep in mind that the first few leaves will be baby leaves. The mature leaves should be larger and have more coloring.
