I just purchased this rubber plant about three weeks ago and it seems to be doing really well. New shoots, and new leaves constantly popping out. However, some of the leaves are turning brown on the tips almost like a sunburn. I have moved it as far away from the window as I possibly can, but they’re still spreading. Anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this?

I have been giving it a good soak weekly. Could it be overwatering?

It very well could still be acclimating to your house too! If does look like a watering issue to me, these guys are so finicky. I would try to put it in the brightest spot in your house with little to no direct sunlight. Try not to water until the soil is 100% dried. They hold a ton of water in their stems. Infrequent (still consistent) thorough waterings are better than small frequent waterings! I have killed two of these guys and am on my third… this is what has worked for me so far!

Did you spray it down with anything?
