Leafy

This is my nanouk plant and I read that downward curled leaves mean overwatering, so I’m remedying that by skipping the next few watering prompts. What I wanted to ask everyone is do the leaves ever uncurl? Or is the change permanent. Google isn’t being very cooperative on finding that out😅 if anyone has any experience with this I’m eager to get my plant happy again.

I don’t think they curl, at least I’ve never seen it done that. Are the leaves droopy? If they are it might be watering problem.

The leaves are quite firm and they don’t feel limp, it’s like they’ve curled but kept their rigidity rather than drooped from lack of water like most of my other plants when they get thirsty. I am a chronic over-waterer so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the root cause😅 even with planta I can’t quite crack that habit. So I’ve just been trying to let it dry out and hope.

That’s strange but interesting at the same time. I can’t think of any reason causing it to curl like this.
