Hello It seems like my Monstera Adansonii is struggling. It has been this way since I got it. Anyone know what I can do to avoid the brown leaves? Anything else I should be doing so it grows bigger and fuller? I live in Missouri so it's not as humid at the moment.

Have you checked the roots? The soil doesn’t look very draining so it could be retaining moisture too long. The roots should be pale and firm. If they’re brown and squishy and seem to break with the barest touch leaving behind a little hairlike strand, it’s root rot

Roots look very good. They don't look smush or brown. I did add more orchid bark to my soil yesterday and replaced the soil on the Monstera.

Mine root rotted and died a few months ago because I overwatered it. I just got a new one yesterday and will see how I make out. I'm going to change the soil to a chunkier mix and remove the more compact soil it is currently in. Im also going to change it out for a clear pot, so I can check on its roots often.
