I was repotting my new golden pathos and saw these small white bugs and I don’t know what they are or how to get rid of them they look like they have antennas I also saw a few ant looking things pls help thank you

    They could be gnats. If you mix a small amount of hydrogen peroxide in with water when you are water it next it should help. I think the ratio is one part hydrogen peroxide and 8 parts water

    I also have golden pothos and I’ve had to do that a few times already. I keep my plants under a grow light and I think that keeps most bugs off of it

      Will that harm the plant if I do it wrong?

    As long as you dilute the hydrogen peroxide it will be ok. It just needs to be more water than hydrogen peroxide. When I do it I will just get a cup of water and put a good squeeze of hydrogen peroxide in

    You will here it sizzle just like how it does on a fresh cut and then the bugs will get washed out of the bottom

    White bugs are probably mealy bugs. DO NOT PUT THIS PLANT BY ANY OTHER PLANTS. Those things spread and are so very hard to get rid of (I’m sorry I wish I had better news). Definitely watch a YouTube video on what to do for them because it’s a process.
