Since everyone has been SO amazing and helpful here, I thought I’d go ahead with my *hopefully* last question about a plant issue. I’ve had my fiddle leaf for almost 4 years. I recently repotted into a bigger pot with new soil. Has drainage. He lives in a room with south and east windows, this is during the year EXCEPT summer he comes to the patio. This year he is looking ROUGH😬He has new growth but even that is looking ick. What have I done? Do i need new soil? Cut him back? Better location? On the deck he’s closer to the east and gets late afternoon/early evening indirect sun. Not a ton of sun, TBH. I’m posting pics and the pic with my hand in it is the new growth. Any help is amazing! Thank you, plant friends!!🌱💚

these really don’t like change — i would guess that the repot and the drastic change in light and temp did this in. i don’t want to be a downer and someone more experienced with FLF will hopefully have some tips, but it’s really hard to turn these around when they decide they’re pissed

It’s a stressed plant. You have to wait it out to see if it acclimates to its new home. They usually come around.

Agreed! Perhaps it’s best you leave this guy inside if that’s where it’ll end up in a few months

Olivia, Brandi and Carbs(😜) thank you so much! I have heard that FLF can be super fussy so i was worried the move and repotting made it upset. Shoot. I’m gonna put her back in her bedroom where she seemed to like her life. Poor thing! I hope she comes around🤞🏻🤞🏻
