. Just met my first mealy bug EVER! It was hiding in the armpit of one of my propagates and plopped straight into the water—lucky for me, otherwise it would’ve stayed undercover. I’ve armed all my houseplants with household systemic defenses and unleashed a 1:1 spray combo of 91% isopropyl alcohol and water, with a few drops of Dawn dish soap for good measure. Rinse and repeat over the next few weeks… mealy bugs, consider this your eviction notice. I’ve got this!

Blech Where do they come from? Can they crawl up 8 flights of stairs?
0件のいいね They can be transferred by people touching your plants. Or bringing a plant home from the store. I’ve been face deep in gnats, soil and systemic household granules. I still can’t believe I saw it just floating there. Ugh. So gross
