Trying to stay consistent and spraying Captain Jacks Dead Bug Spray… | Pests, diseases and problems | Planta-Community

Keith

Trying to stay consistent and spraying Captain Jacks Dead Bug Spray every three days after noticing some spider mites on our ficus elástica. Came across these dudes on a philodendron across the room and am wondering if I need to adjust my treatment plan. They were moving across the surface of a few leaves.

I've read that they can somewhat become resistant to what we use if we use it too often. I use Captain Jacks the first time, then two days later I use Bioadvanced 3 in 1 and two days later jist good old rubbing alcohol mixed with a few drops of dawn dish soap and water.

It sucks that Planta doesn't let us zoom in on pictures. But is that a white fuzzy kind of patch on the smaller leaf in lower left? Potential mealies?
