Hi! I got this Vicks plant (plectranthus tomentosa) about a year ago. It was vibrant and blooming and so huge that it was falling out of the pot, so I decided to repot it. I then brought it back to school with me about two weeks after, where the climate is colder, and it started dropping leaves (leaves turned grey and crispy) and the base of the plant started turning brown and woody. Fast forward a half a year, and it has basically stopped growing at all. It just exists as a woody stump thing whose few leaves just die. I tried using fertilizer and it got a few new leaves, but then they died within two weeks. Please help, I feel like I killed this plant and I can't figure out how to bring it back.

What type of soil did you repot it in? And how often were you watering it? If it seems like it’s clinging to life yet, maybe repot it and check for root rot. Cut off anything that looks like it’s molding or rotting.

You can always try to re-sprout roots from a piece of the plant. Just place a good enough piece in a clear glass of water. I change the water out every other day
