Has anyone ever encountered an issue with their umbrella tree like this? I checked the roots & there’s no sign of rot. The leaves have been curled in like this for a while & now I’m noticing the top of the one stem is shriveling up. I was thinking under watering, but when I give it a good soak nothing changes.

    Absolutely heat/sun stress... mine experienced the same thing... have you moved it recently?

      These old stems will die back so please be prepared for that and prune now so that new growth is encouraged somewhere else on the plant

      I haven’t - but where it’s at in my house does get more sun this time of year when the leaves fall off our outdoor trees. Maybe I’ll move it somewhere with less light & see if that helps

    That's a good idea, I done that and cut back anything that was dieing and she proper bounced back! I have faith yours will too!

    Just another possibility to consider, maybe hyperphobic (I think that’s correct term). Is the soil absorbing water or is it just running thru?
