If I need to buy BT for the possibility of fungus gnats, as posted in the previous text, what would be the best product to buy? And would BT be the best product to prevent more fungus?

This is the BTI that I get from Amazon. It works very well. I put 3 tablespoons in a mesh bag (so the mosquito bits don’t go directly into the plant soil), put that in a gallon of water and let it soak for 30 minutes before watering my plants with it.
いいね 1件Good to know! However, do you know if there is any kind of a BT liquid drop that I could use. Seems like it might be simpler??? TXS for your post! 🤗💚🪴
0件のいいねDid you see the earlier post I sent that showed those little bugs on a Zevo type device? If so, do you know if those are fungus gnats? TIA. 🤗💚🪴
0件のいいねAh, my mistake! I misread it as “BTI”. I haven’t tried those myself so hopefully someone will weigh in on that. Yes, I saw that post and they do look like fungus gnats to me

Try BT Thuricude. It’s liquid form and 98% strength compared to the bits’ 3%. You need to address the root cause of your fungus gnat issue which is soil that stays wet too long and isn’t getting proper wet-dry cycles. Couple things to try: Changing soil to a chunkier mix that’s well draining. Adding coarse material like perlite or small orchid bark can help. Decrease watering frequency. Increase light and air flow. GL.
いいね 1件TXS for your post. I am ordering it online at Amazon right now. Are there any side effects to using it? I’m always concerned about using a new product and what it may do to my plants. Anything else I should know about using this product? Regards…🤗💚🪴
