Hey everyone! I’m very new to plants and I woke up to my marble queen pothos having brown spots on my new leaves that just open and another that’s about to open also holes in older leaves. Not sure if it’s signs of root rot or pest so any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Holes in the leaves are not typically a sign of root rot so I wouldn't worry about that too much. Overall your plant looks healthy. It's possible there was some damage to the new leaves because of low humidity while it was forming. As far as pests go if you don't see them I would just use a preventative treatment such as all seasons horticultural oil or neem oil being sure to get both the front and the back of the leaves.

Welcome new plant friend! Be prepared, houseplants are like a cult lololol once you start, you can’t stop It seems like a humidity or temperature issue! This also happens from an inconsistent care schedule. This has happened to mine a few times and I noticed when I add more humidity and become more consistent, it usually goes away

Thank you! I’m ordering a humidifier this week but for now I’ve been bringing them in the shower with me plus i live in Louisiana so unfortunately it’s usually naturally humid outside 😩

Natural humidity is a good thing for plants. Humidity drops in colder months especially if a heater is used indoors.

Your plant looks healthy and to piggyback on the humidity comments. You all just had that crazy cold snowstorm not long ago. Your plant could be reacting to that change which as you say is not typical for where you are.
