Hello this is my string of pearls and I don’t really know what’s wrong with it. Some of the “leaves” are squishy and wilted and some are all dried out. I don’t think it has to do with lighting as it’s under a grow lamp. Please let me know what you think, thanks!

Could Need a bigger pot, and also could be the soil make up. I know string of pearls need a more water saturated (holds water). Soil, that regular succulents wouldn’t normally like. I’m no expert so, but just what I know of the plant.

These need to be completely dry (and then some) before you water them. Use a wooden skewer to check the soil all the way to the bottom, don’t water if its not dry. The pearls also go a little bit soft when its time to water. All mine are in the same mix I keep all my succulents in as they retain a lot of moisture in their leaves and can easily rot if the soil retains too much moisture. They also don’t do well with being watered from the top. They have a very delicate fine root system that can easily be damaged. It looks like a lot of the roots are exposed in your photo, which is a problem. I’m going to say its over watered and too many roots are exposed which is causing it to die on you.
