Hi! My Guzmania has sent out 3 pups. She has finished flowering and the flower has been removed as it went dry. Just wondering when I remove the pups to pot on should I discard of the mother or is there any hope for her yet?

Looks beautiful!! I would advise to remove the pups now and repot them individually, they won't have a strong root system and it will be fiddly and snappy to separate from mum but that's because they are epiphytes and store water in the middle of the leaves to grow (therefore need misting regularly). U can keep mum if she's still got green after the serperation, however she won't flower again and will now slowly deteriorate as she focuses energy on babies! Congratulations, hope repotting goes well xx

Thank you! Mums pretty green at the moment and I keep removing the dead leaves to keep her looking healthy. Will she keep sending out new pups? Xx
