Ring of fire - roots look fine?
Ring of fire - roots look fine?
Ring of fire albo variegated, nice, when I first looked I thought it was the most rarest plant in the world, Alocasia PELTATA SILVER
I honestly bought it from a small plant shop for like $25 and at first thought it was expensive then realized it’s much rarer than my white knight which I paid the same amount for. Both gorgeous plants though!
That’s a bargain as never seen that plant before, so yah $25 is a still
How interested. I’m learning a lot in this comment section lol yeah I went because my partner was playing a gig in another state and I drove so I made him come and buy me a plant as payment haha I had wanted a ring of fire for a while, I guess variegation was just lucky. I appreciate all the info!
I got it for 10$
Welp either way glad to support a small business. It was a gift to me :)
Not sure about the browning on the end part, could be low on fertilizer or humidity
I’ll throw a humidifier next to it see what happens LOL it’s all a test with the pretty plants 😭
Can just be that it’s a fully white leaf. White leaves don’t last long bc they can’t photosynthesize
All white leaves are pretty to look at but don’t typically last long because there’s no chlorophyll to help process light. They’ll eventually die back as a result. If the roots look fine and you’re not seeing issues on the rest of the plant, then the plant is just culling the fully variegated leaf
App isn’t let me edit comments. But I was gonna add that you can add silica to your feeding schedule and that should help stabilize variegated leaves at least a bit longer
Interesting thank you so much
I second the silica supplement. I really think it helps. It can be used on all your plants.
