    Crotons naturally tend to have a lot of yellow and red patterning, so it's probably just natural color variation. Yours has an unusually restrained pattern, so it'll probably throw an odd yellow patch every once in a while. Also some varieties change pattern depending on lighting conditions; yours may show a lot more pattern if it gets more light. It seems healthy, so it's nothing to worry about

    Croton needs at least 8 hours of direct sunlight and warm temperatures. Add grow lights close to it for 12-17 hours to bring out the variegation including bright colors. 🪴🍀

      Thank you! I moved it a couple months ago to a more direct light. Maybe this is why the colors are now coming out.
