Hello, my alocasia isn’t doing too well, the new leaf died off as you can see in the photo. Will this come back to life and will that little node at the bottom produce anything? Or is the plant gone? Thank you!

ElizabethFAlocasia can come back as long as the chunk isn’t rotted. Even if it has no leaves or roots, there is a chance the chunk can come back. Just check for root rot. They also don’t like their roots messed with. they want to be consistently moist so water when the first few inches of soil is dry and not when planta says to.
