I’m wondering what’s going on with my parlour palm. It continuously gets browning leaves. It lives on a window sill (pictured) it gets part sun/part shade. This particular window is located under an overhanging roof, so it is more shaded but when the sun comes around in the afternoon it gets some direct sun. Does it need brighter light to correct this problem? I always check the soil before watering and don’t water unless it’s dry. I don’t see any sign of pests.

Most likely issue is low humidity. They thrive in high humidity! 😊

Would misting it once weekly not be enough? 😬 Fridays are spa days for my plants, I give them all a mist!

I don't believe misting actually helps with humidity issues. You may be better off purchasing a humidifier. I personally don't mist any of my plants or use a humidifier. But then again I tend to stick with plants that don't require any special treatment. I prefer plants that like neglect!! Lol 😊🪴

I don’t mind giving my plants a little TLC if some of them are a bit needier. I do have a humidifier, I’ll relocate this plant to a brighter spot, and place it near the humidifier! Thanks for your responses!!
