This could be a problem with watering, light, heat, or humidity. Without info on where it is I can't say anything, but I would do a bit of research on the species and what it needs.
4 J'aimeThank you Jw, let me look into that I really hope I get this one thriving🙏🏻🥰
0 J'aimeIt actually seems happy! Small leaves may go yellow and fall off , just because the plant is growing and does this cycle naturally . In the other hand , is something is out of place in the plants care of environment that could affect it . There’s also a natural bit of yellow in the leaves , partially around the white parts which i believe is natural for them as well. Somebody correct me if I’m wrong! Haha. Worst case scenario, if it continues dropping leaves , look up what its healthy root system should appear like and then check how yours looks! That will give you answers I’m sure :)
2 J'aimeHey Tabi thank you, I feel a little relieved ☺️ I thoughts it was getting a type of pest I would look at the environment for it I had it for a week inside my office I might have to mover it around too.
1 j'aimeLooks like you’re doing amazing 🥰
1 j'aimeUsually yellowing leaves is over or under watering. It can also be caused by needing a repot, the larger roots wind down into the bottom of the pot and it causes them to be sitting in water longer, this is usually noticeable when mostly just bottom/older leaves are yellowing. It's also common for older leaves to eventually yellow and die off. I generally pluck them off, then if it keeps happening, investigate further
4 J'aimeHi Wolfen thank youu, great tip, I really like the plant so I'll keep monitoring it I see I have to water it at 11 days so I will look into the water and maybe repotting after 🙏🏻🙏🏻 like you say if it keeps happening hopefully not jeje ☺️
1 j'aimeLove dieffenbachia, they are so pretty. They can be really susceptible to over watering. So just check the soil, if its still damp, wait until you stick your finger in and its dry. And if you 'skip' the watering for i think it defaults to 2 days later. It should actually adjust your water schedule. If not you can make a custom watering schedule
2 J'aimeIt has some small yellow leaves too, these ones have yellow on the green parts and some other signs that show me they are dying . :)
2 J'aimeThat looks very green☺️ thanks for sharing too, I don't see a yellow so it look good
1 j'aimeLol thank you I did see that just today, I was a little suprised about it being toxic so i will definitely handle it with care😟☺️ thank you for looking into it ☺️
1 j'aimeYour plant is an Alanna which is pretty forgiving about light- but it loves bright indirect light that makes me think it has too much water in the soil.
