Birkin looking a bit floppy recently and a couple leaves turning yellow/falling off, any ideas? Water it once a week and gets good light. Owned for at least a year in same pot.

looks thirsty. what’s good light? i would at the very least pull it out of the pot and check roots — but more realistically i would repot it asap 😊

I was worried about trying to water some more if it was over watered and killing it. Will repot this weekend and see how it goes next week, thanks

if it’s not overwatered/root rot or underwatered, it looks to me like it needs more light!

To me it looks more like root rot than underwatering. Usually when philodendrons are thirsty, they curl the edges of their leaves more. I wouldn’t recommend watering on a schedule of once a week, or on a schedule at all, because that tends to lead to overwatering. Instead, I recommend waiting until the soil is dry to water the plant. And if it doesn’t have root rot, I think the plant could probably go up a pot size, based on how much it fills out that pot.
