Hello! I have a Pink Lady that I have chopped and propagated twice now due to these quickly browning leaves. I was keeping her in a bright window when I first got her and she was growing but quickly developing these brown leaves. So I chopped and propagated and moved her to an indirect bright shelf and started to bottom water only but still these leaves started to do similar things. Is she just destined to have these crispy leaves or does she more so need a light directly above her? Any advice welcome!

I’m assuming this is Callisia Repens gold, the green leaf variety. I found them a bit finicky. Any delays with watering will cause the older sections to die off leaving bald spots. Mine needed more light and regular hair trimming. It eventually died. But, a few pieces broke off and self propagated on the pine needles near my shed. It got direct sunlight until 10am, part sun and shade until 1:30pm and full sunlight in the hottest part of the afternoon. It covered three old pots like a carpet until snow killed it this year. Yours may need more light. It looks etiolated. Try a grow light. I’m in south Texas, zone 9. Humidity levels are over 70% in summer. Try adding a humidifier.

Thank you for your response (-: I didn’t even consider humidity levels so will look into that. And yes perhaps she would appreciate more bright light from above and in general. I’ll consider moving her and gauging her reaction lol thanks again!
