I think I need help. This pink polka dot plant is loosing some of the larger middle/lower leaves. They're turning yellow and drying up. There's some new growth trying on the top, but I'm worried. I can't tell if it's a light or water issue. Any advice?

Check soil isn’t staying to wet, yellowing , then drying is normally sign it’s not drying out enough between waterings , also check not root bound and there healthy

The roots aren't bound. And I think I'm letting it dry enough. I read it likes being slightly moist but maybe I'm over doing it

Get a moisture meter it has made big difference for me. Even if the app says it need watering I always check with the meter just in case.

I might invest in one. This plant seems very picky

These plants need very high humidity. They do best in terrariums. Without humidity they drop leaves and become leggy.

That could be the issue. The location it's in is quite dry. Thanks for the tip
