My tiny fiddle is growing but has developed some browning. Can anyone tell me what’s possibly happening? She was getting indirect light (roughly 12 feet from a southern facing window) throughout the day, but I’ve recently placed her under a grow lamp to provide more light. I only use rain or bottled water.

FLF are very finicky about being moved. perhaps this is just from being moved to under a grow light. be sure that puppy is getting a lot of light from that grow light. they LOVE direct sunlight.

it’s tough to tell from the lighting but it could be a burn from the light. how close is the light to the plant?

So I just recently ( 2 days ago) moved it to the grow light. The browning was showing when it was only getting indirect light. She is approximately 5 inches under the light now

hmm this is an interesting one. are the spots yellow or brown? is your watering schedule consistent?

The spots are brown. She is in a self watering pot but I do not constantly refill the bowl. I generally let the soil dry out before refilling.
