My pothos got root rot. I accidentally left him sitting in his dish for water drainage when I watered him a week or so ago and I felt awful when I realized and tried to dry his soil out as soon as I could, but the damage was already done. He keeps losing stems and roots now and it hasn’t been getting any better, he’s really starting to look really bare. Any advice for anything I can do to help? I know the root rot is already there and there isn’t a whole lot I can do to get rid of it, but is there anything I can do to prevent it from continuing to get worse or to help him get better faster?

    In my experience, pothos are kinda hard to kill. Just give it a good dry spell. If you’re dying to do something maybe replace the dirt so you know it’s not wet but honestly I would just give it time. If you’re super worried, you could also propagate the vines that are still healthy.
