Got this Regal Shield plant yesterday and it already had this drooping leaf. The owner of the shop told me to just cut it off and it’ll grow back stronger. I have done some research and know that some leaves will start drooping to make way for new growth, so I wanted to ask the community if chopping the leaf is the right thing to do!!

Yes! Totally right thing, makes the plant healthier, and plus these ones go through cycling where some die off so new ones can come out

Agreed. There are plenty of remaining leaves to feed the plant anyway.

Plants stress and need time, a couple of weeks, to adjust to new environments. Leaves yellowing or dropping could be a sign of stress. No need to keep a dying leaf.
