Hmmmm…the leaves looking kind of transparent on both pictures makes me think overwatered. But the dry tips and sucked in leaves looks under watered. Was it maybe not watered enough in the past so you tried to make up for it by watering more often? Or vice versa? Also, I’m wondering if the crown being buried could have caused the leaves to start rotting/dying where they meet the stem. Maybe start by digging the dirt around the plant and uncover the buried part. See what condition it’s in.
3 J'aimeOkay thank you and no I didn’t overwater or Under water I only water when the soil is completely dru
0 J'aimeAloe doesn’t need water because the soil is dry. It stores water in its leaves so it needs to sit in the dry dirt until it’s lower leaves feel less firm. Then you water it. A lot of people kill their aloe thinking it needs water. It can go quite a while with no water. One of the regular posters on here left some aloe babies on her porch with no dirt for a year before getting around to potting them up! Aloe is crazy like that!🤪 When you water, it should dry up within a day and then sit in dry dirt until it shows signs of needing water again. It may still bounce back, aloe is pretty resilient.😊
0 J'aimeHaha! That’s me! I’m the one who abandoned them for a year! Ps now they are all potted and throwing out even more pups. Someone save me, I’m drowning in aloe plants.
