Just got a Mauritius lychee tree but it looks like it has leaf burn and its leaves are drooping I gave it shade and a bin of water but it’s a full sun plant so should I take it out of shade?

You have to acclimate it to full sun over a period of several days. Check online for detailed instructions to avoid further sunburns. Search “Acclimate plants to outside.”🪴🍀

0 LikesI’m not sure the wilting is from being in shade. It could be stress from adjusting to a new location once removed from the nursery/store. That will take time to adjust. It could be too dry. Check the soil for moisture. Water if needed. If it was repotted shortly after arriving, less than a month, it could be drooping and drying from the stress of broken/disturbed roots during repotting. If it was under a shade cloth roof in the nursery, then, place a piece of shade cloth over it until it can acclimate to full sun.
