Help! I’ve found these creepy crawlers in BOTH my diffenbachia and my monstera that I purchased from Home Depot and I have no idea what these are. What are they? Are they harmful? And how do I treat them??

My understanding is they’re millipedes and are actually beneficial to the plant/soil. I think they also eat some bad pests like spider mites.

0 J'aimeYeah! No big deal, good for the soil in fact!
2 J'aimeSo glad to hear they are helpful and not hurtful! I was mildly panicked!
0 J'aimeThey are baby millipedes and are great for soil. They help aerate and only eat detritus (dead, decaying matter), so they will help remove bad roots and all.
1 j'aimeWoohoo! So good to hear! Thank you. I was VERY worried at first lol.
