    Maybe check if the roots are still alive? TBH it doesn’t look like it to me but I’m not expert.

      Whenever it started browning, I moved it more out of the sun and started watering more, but I think it may be a lost cause

    I’m in the same boat with you. 100° weather when I was out of town and my front hedge plants died 😭

    Probably not but if you trim back and find either green leaves or live wood at any point, you can try to save it. You'd just keep it within healthy temperatures and wait. Reduce watering since it can't photosynthesize well
