Best solution for spider mites and fungus gnats? Haven’t had to deal with any other pests yet, but can’t seem to get rid of spider mites completely. They always make a comeback.

Bottom watering or getting a Venus flytrap

Mosquito bits also work but a long term solution are the ones above
0 gillningarYes that would help! They’re hard to keep though and only digest 1 bug every two weeks.

Hmmm then maybe sundews or pitcher plants. But yeah bottom watering works as well as well as those yellow sticky fly traps and spraying rubbing alcohol onto the soil.

Butterwort is great as well and it’s like flypaper
1 gillaMOSQUITO 👏DUNK👏TEA👏 genuinely the only thing that got rid of my diabolical fungus gnat problem -put dunk in watering can/whatever holds your water (measurements are on back of package, I did 1/2 dunk for 1/2 gal. can) -let it soak for at least a few hours, but ideally 24 hrs. It’s helpful to have a back stock in case you forget to let it steep or have a lot of plants -water plants regularly (does not affect fertilizer use!) -replace when dunk dissolves and repeat It addresses the root of the problem because the larvae in the soil will consume it and die off. Depending on the level of infestation it may take a few months to see results since you have to get through the gnat life cycle. I still use it on all plants to this day just to avoid any future problems! *Edit: forgot to mention to combine this method with yellow sticky traps for the adult gnats! The dunks are primarily for the larvae/preventing more adults from growing*
1 gillaFor spider mites I would suggest either a diluted rubbing alcohol & water spray, neem oil, or diluted Castile soap spray. Give plants a thorough spray down with the selected treatment and repeat until no mites are seen for a few days
