My plant has been very dry I have been watering when ever the app tells me and it’s growing a new plant can someone help like is it a new seed from outside or like help please

    Lucky! I killed mine within a few weeks! Uhm it looks like a weed. If you want to repot to see what it turns into you could always remove it and replant

    I’d just pick it out. This has happened to mine when I put them out. No worries. This cactus will never propagate. They have to be attached to a host to survive so you won’t see it grow like that.

    those plants are grafted, the cactus and the red one(moon cactus) and although they are cute the moon cactus is considered a parasite because it cannot survive without a host(the green cactus) and it will use the nutrients from the host to continue living, so unfortunately, unless you are able to graft the moon cactus onto a new host cactus, it won’t survive, and will constantly need a new host
