Anyone else with a staghorn fern doing this? It hasn’t grown new leaves or been healthy in quite a while. Some of the oldest and newest leaves have shriveled up, but not how they usually do from being under watered. At first I thought I wasn’t watering it enough, but I feel like there’s some more. I let it soak up water for 30min-1hr every 17 days because that’s what the app says and it’s by a grow light. sos? 😅 Also I just pruned off some leaves because I was tired of looking at them, oops.

    Hmm it definitely looks like an underwatering issue. I don’t think these like to dry out completely and you said it has a grow light so it shouldn’t be a light problem. The app is almost never right when it comes to the watering schedule - too many variables!

    Have you checked out the discovery page and scrolled to the epiphytic plant section? It has some information about the stag horn fern that might help! :)
