Any input on how to save my shiveria rubber tree? I’ve had it for roughly a month. I have watered it once since I brought it home. This week I noticed leaves beginning to droop. Yesterday I checked the soil and it was very dry, so I watered it generously. I also noted spider mite webbing and sprayed down with Neem oil yesterday, and again today. It sits directly in my south facing windowsill in sunny CO, it is starting to get cooler here and I may have to move it back a foot or so from the window.

Curled leaves means very thirsty…and I would definitely bring to bright spot indoors.

Thanks for your advice. I should have clarified that the photo was of the plant after I had sprayed it down with Neem oil and had it outside to dry before taking it back in. I’ll increase the watering once the soil dries out again, thanks for the tip!

Neem oil can sometimes burn the leaves in sunshine. Best to apply in the evening.

Seconding underwatered. Out of curiosity, do you water the top soil slowly and evenly or do you pour right next to the plant and wait for the water to come out? Ficus generally are super thirsty and need full coverage watering

The first time I watered it until the soil felt saturated (did not look water leaving the drainage holes). Last night when I watered it, I watered until water was visible coming out the bottom of the pot.
