I am new to gardening like brand new. I’m noticing little spiders and ants on some of my vegetable plants, how do I solve this issue/prevent bugs?

    there's not much you can do. they're outside, there's gonna be bugs 🤷‍♂️ are they eating your fruiting plants? if so, feed with a systemic insecticide. it'll make the fruit toxic to bugs so they stop eating it.

    Spiders are great to have on your veggies; they'll eat pest insects and help protect your veggies. As for the others, as long as they aren't eating the plant, you can just shake/rinse them off when you harvest. If you suspect they are eating the plants, look up the species of insect to get recommendations on removal. The inaturalist/seek apps are good for identifying them. (Also If you post a pic of the bugs here, I can help you ID them.) In general, it's best to match the pest to the pesticide, since many bugs are resistant to some types and vulnerable to others. Neem oil is a decent general purpose one if you just want prevention. If you prefer to minimize chemical use, natural predators are very useful; you can even buy ladybugs and mantises for that from some nurseries or insect farms. For attracting wild predators, native asters and flowers in the carrot/dill family (Apiaceae) will attract lots of beneficial wasps (the small parasitoid species that can't sting humans at all.) Mosquito netting also works if your plants are small enough to fully enclose. Trap plants are another natural method; basically the insects like those so much that they get on the trap plant instead of your crops, and then it's easy to kill them all at once
