I got this monkey mask/pothos combo a couple months of FB marketplace. Hydroponic in leca and the pothos is doing ok, but monkey mask is really struggling, the leaves keep browning and falling off. I wanna chop and prop that long stem but what’s the best way to do so since it’s just a stem?

I would chop each piece with one node, known as wet sticks. Lay on top of moist/damp sphagnum moss and cover. It’ll take time but eventually each node will start to produce leaves :)

I always have issue with adansonii in water. I prop mine in perlite or moss now. I agree, you could just cut each internode so that you have a few plants. Just push them into some wet perlite or moss. Here's a picture from the internet to give you an idea. This one's in a greenhouse, but any bin will work
