   It appears to have had periods of not being watered. I’ve had several like that before when I forgotten about them.

   I had this same problem with my nanouk when I brought it home from the store. I just moved it to outside to get full sun when inside wasn’t seeming to be enough and got it on a regular watering schedule and in just a couple months it has tripled in size and it’s immensely more purple. I’m guessing not enough water like Melanie said. Getting it back on track and some sunshine should help. Planta has a pretty great diagnoses and remedy section, too.
