My mom accidentally bumped into my Hosta Plantain Lily Elegans, and a leaf snapped off very cleanly at the stem. Is there any way I can propagate the leaf? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did the breakage include the lower, white part of the stem? If so you can water propagate and plant once the root is 1”. If not, it won’t work.
0 LikesIt does have the white part of the stem, but very little of it. I saw online that it could be propogated in water, but I don’t know much else in terms of specifics with this plant. I’ve only propagated succulents
0 LikesI use the old, clear, glass, stem vases (from goodwill - typically $1 each) and fill it up with rain water and set it front of a window with morning sun. Change the water when you can get more rain water, every few days. It shouldn’t take too long to notice the roots!
