I planted two of these Green Mountain Boxwood 2-3 weeks ago in Columbus OH. They are both potted and in my courtyard. I sprayed them with Neem Oil on Friday. Am I missing something?

Just a possibility but last year our area was infested with the boxwood beetle or worm or whatever, and probably about 75% of the boxwoods in our subdivision were killed by it. It was fast before people realized what it was, it was too late. I’m relandscaping our front garden bed because of it. It was pretty bad. Subdivision of 365 homes and now almost no boxwoods.
1 LikeThanks. I didn’t visualize any, but sprayed anyway. We will see if they bounce back.
0 LikesThat happened to me. I have a hedge that’s over 60 years old. There’s no way I’m ready to pull it all out. I was told to spray it with a specific spray for the moth infestation if that’s what happened. I was also told to spray them anyway to protect them from that moth.
0 LikesYou sprayed with neem oil and looks like the plant got burned.
2 LikesPerhaps but it was well on its way when I treated with neem oil.
0 LikesWhy did you use neem oil?
0 LikesI just assumed it was some type of disease or bug. Never had a problem with Neem Oil damaging my plants, so I doubt that was it.
