I repotted my monstera for the first time on Sunday and she looks sad 😠will she survive? Is there anything else I can do? The blurry pic on the left was taken a few months ago before being repotted obvi, but there’s for reference

Unfortunately when repotting that happens sometimes but don’t give up i think she will perk right back up soon!

It might be that you placed it in fresh soil which can be on the drier side and didn’t water it enough, I know my monstera droops when it’s thirsty and perks up a few hours after it’s watered. It is a tropical plant so it likes plenty of moisture, especially in the warmer months. Once the top layer of soil is dry to the touch, I’d water it plenty (especially if you switched to a bigger pot, you’ll need to use more water than you used when it was in a smaller one). If it starts to become discoloured though, then it might be that some of the roots got hurt during the replanting process, but signs of that usually wouldn’t show so quickly.

Haven’t noticed any discoloration! Maybe it needs more water, but when I touched the top of the soil, it still seemed partially damp. I’ll try watering again to see if it helps!
