Hi! I got this San Pedro cactus not too long ago and recently noticed this yellow fungus looking thing in the soil. I googled but can’t seem to find exactly what it is. Any idea if this is harmful and/or best way to get rid of it? Thank you!

I think it’s Fuligo septica! It’s not harmful to the plant but if you want to get rid of it, you could replace the soil. Airflow and well-draining/chunky soil can help to prevent fungus

I was going to suggest the same and ask when it’s been repotted last. It might be time.
