Can anyone give me advice on what to do about my caladium angel… | Pests, diseases and problems | Comunità di Planta

Can anyone give me advice on what to do about my caladium angel wings? She was lush when I first got her. She was originally further away from the window and deeper in my living room. She started to sag and the leaves all died one by one. And I moved her here and it still continued. I was keeping up with her watering schedule but nothing seemed to help. How can I save it now?

Looks like it needs a much smaller pot. You want a pot 2 inches bigger than the roots (not the foliage itself). Its also winter so it may be going into a natural dormancy! I don’t know this plant well but a quick google can tell you if they go into dormancy.

It probably wasn't getting enough light deeper in your room. Which caused it to drop leaves and head into dormancy. Don't overwater it during this time, as it will often rot them.

Caladiums go dormant in the winter. I dug up the bulbs and am storing them in a paper bag until next spring when I replant. There’s other ways to do it so you can do some research but don’t worry about it dying and don’t keep watering it
