Is my lavender dying or going dormant? I watered it a week ago cause it looked sad but hasnāt perked up. Iām in New England so itās definitely colder and darker this time of year! There are some bottom leaves that are definitely dead.
I would say dormant but honestly I donāt know as Iāve only grown it outside. š¤·š»āāļø

I have a standard that Iāve kept for 3 years. Itās in my unheated basement. Iām in Nova Scotia and the temp now is 10C down there. It looks pretty similar. I trim it back in the Spring, cut the inevitable dead branches and off it goes. The one on the right is a lavender too.

0 gillningar It is under grow lights but they are basically just old fluorescent lights from the hardware store. I leave them to dry out quite a bit.
