Help please! I got her of the clearance section at Lowe’s for 4 dollars!!! So I had to try to bring her back! Some of her leaves were REALLY BAD like holes everywhere. So shower and hydrogen peroxide as well as neem oil and plant food. What else can I do and is this really an imperial red? I’m not really sure it would be my first. She’s got a tiny baby leave growing already but idk if she’s supposed to grow this way! Any advice is welcomed!!! Thanks!

This is a flashback for me...same situation, same plant...you're doing what I did with my little guy. A few leaves were so badly crispy, I hated to remove the whole leaf, so I ended up trimming them, leaving the good parts. I then put cinnamon around where I cut...had no idea if it would survive...but 5 weeks later, he's doing good, couple of new growth. The spots/damage won't go away, but gives him character. So, you're on the right path, give it a little TLC now and then regular water/light care and it should be good too.

Thank you so much! I can let out a breath and know I made the right choice by bringing her home. Now all I have to do is wait and give her time. Thank you!

that baby leaf is not part of the big plant! philos always grow continuously from the main stem. and, expect leaves to drop from the shock. be VERY careful about overwatering, as my philos can be incredibly dramatic about it.

The small leaf at the bottom with that yellow ring around the dead spot. That's fusarium. Remove that leaf, be careful not to let it touch any others, and treat with fungicide. The other holes look like harmless damage; the yellow ring is the main symptom to watch for. I'd also check it for root rot just in case
