I have succulents that have gnats. I’ve tried a lot of different sprays but they are hurting the succulents. Do you guys have any advice on how to get rid of my gnat problem? Thanks

    I’ve heard cinnamon can help prevent fungus gnats but I don’t know that it’s an actual cure all.

      I have the sticky traps but I think they are breeding in the soil.

    I have many many succulents and have never had gnats. You may need to check your watering routine because normally succulent soil does not provide the environment for gnats to thrive in. Are you sure they are fungus gnats?

      I think I’m trying to figure out my soil composition and I water until it leaks from the bottom like the app mentions. I have a ton of plants so I think the gnats are just spreading. My soil is potting soil, sand, and maybe 40 percent perlite/orchid bark.

      I took a look at your Planta. I made an assumption that you had mostly succulents but that was wrong. You do have quite a few plants that could attract gnats. You have given your plants some very cool appropriate names. Because I don’t have gnats, I can’t help with that, but you mentioned that you are still figuring out the soil aspect. For succulents, including dracaenas, soil should be bone dry between waterings. Then water until it is draining well. Pic is my soil mix for most of my succulents. Echeveria will have even less organic. I start with Jacks Gritty Mix and mix in potting soil. An FYI, which will affect its care, Fiona is not a sedum burrito. Most likely it’s a ghost plant, which is a graptopetalum. Different light needs. I’ve been doing succulents for a while. I have about 200 now. Hope you can solve the gnat issue. I’m sure you will get it under control.

    Add mosquito bits to the water before, watering the plant. It kills the eggs without harming the plant. In addition the sticky traps

      I use these drops! Same ingredient as the bits

    Maybe try predatory mites, I used that and it worked well
