Hello all! I found this product at Walmart and decided to use it on my plants… not only did the dirt MOLD where I placed it, but it also made one of the trunks of my Money tree squishy. I’m not sure if I used the product wrong but I would not recommend🥲 if you have used this product and have been successful, please let me know your process. And/or what to do for the squishiness of the trunk. Thanks!
I’m not sure about the fertilizer, but watering plants with ice cubes isn’t usually ideal because the cold water stresses their roots out. Just use room temperature water.
7 gillningar The fertilizer I got was recommended by a botanist. And surprisingly enough, they also recommended doing ice cubes for the money tree specifically - as the water melts it will trickle down. That being said, by the time it gets to the roots, it’s not as cold. I ONLY do this to the money tree. I haven’t had any problems until using the pump and grow. He’s been happy and healthy since I started doing ice cubes. Now I will say that I did place them a little too close to the root this time and did move them before they started to melt😊
2 gillningarOk sounds good just making sure you weren’t doing that for plants such as orchids lol. This is the stuff I use that I got from Calloway’s. Just a few drops for each cup of water.
Yeah nooo. My other plants would freak😂 I totally did try this on my corn tree… I’m not sure if she likes it or not but we shall see lol I’ll have to check out Calloways! How long have you been using it and can you use it on succulents too or no?
0 gillningarI only have 3 succulents but they seem to like it with a smaller dose. I’ve been using it for about 4 months and my Christmas cactus loves it. It started growing like crazy
