Trying to figure out care for my plant. I’m thinking it’s the fact that my window lets the cold air in. The temperature is noticeably colder and the humidity is down to a whopping 13% (my humidifier broke and taking into the shower hasn’t helped)

It looks really hydrophobic. I would bottom water it until the soil has resaturated and give it a few days. I’d also repot in spring, its looking pretty root bound. The reason I’d wait is because in its current state, repotting might be too much of a shock.

When was the last time you watered your pothos? The soil almost looks hydrophobic so I would recommend bottom watering/ fertilizing to get to the roots right away. After that, I would wait a few months and repot/ change out the soil as it’s looking a little root bound. I hope your pothos perks up!

I water it frequently, but I think I’ve only tried top watering. Yes it does look hydrophobic

Also for a humidifier bandaid, try using a small aroma diffuser. They put out a nice mist, are smaller, and a teeny bit less expensive in the short term. I've used a bunch of them until I decided if I was really going to purchase humidifier(s), but even then I was able to purchase a couple for pretty cheap on Amazon. Good luck.

Yep, definitely needs a new pot. You can either purchase a pot a couple inches bigger than the existing pot or you can trim the roots down and put it back in the same pot. I rescued a pothos that the leaves were entirely crunchy. I got all of the stems back to about 2 in. I gave it a thorough watering both from the top and from the bottom. Watering from the top will flush out excess salts from the soil. Transplanting is best done at the beginning of the growing season but in this case I think I would cut it back, hydrate it give it, a few days and then do the transplant. Don't be afraid to rough up the roots a little bit and trim them back. As long as you don't cut too many off it will stimulate root growth. I would say do not cut more than 25% of the roots off.

Also, if you can move it away from any cold drafts. I don't know where you live but if it was getting a cold draft at my house it's about 2° outside! So no cold drafts and maybe a pebble tray.
