This is my first Chinese evergreen plant, my leaves are drooping, is this because of watering issues or sunlight issues? Or is this normal for this type of plant? Iâve had to add a uv lamp because donât get enough light coming thru my apartment. Please help me.
check the soil. it may be drooping bc itâs thirsty. i donât see any yellowing leaves so i donât think itâs overwatered. you can also check by touching the leaves. if it still feels healthy and itâs just limp itâs likely underwatered. it could be sunlight issues as well but since youâve gotten a grow light already id recommend checking the soil.

0 gillningar my dieffenbachia does the same when itâs thirsty. looks like itâs dying but really theyâre just dramatic.

As long as it's been watered it's normal, they are not upright plants, they droop alittle. Your's looks big and full and beautiful.

This is mine. They donât stand up like most. The only part that stand up is the unfurled leaves but they quickly lay down after unfurling. Mine likes to be constantly damp but not soggy so heâs in a self watering pot and he loves it.
