This is a scindapsus pictus and I haven’t figured out what’s going on. I’m wondering why the leaves are curling up and if it needs more water. Any suggestions are appreciated:)

My pictus leaves do this when they aren’t getting enough water. I noticed this more when I was top watering. Try bottom watering next time to make sure things are getting fully saturated and see if that makes a difference.

Is bottom watering when I soak the bottom of the pot water?

Yep, I place the pot in a bowl of water and leave it in there until the top of the soil feels wet. Depending on the pot size I may have to add more water if it soaks it all up but the top still feels dry. After the soil is saturated I put the plant back in it’s home and check a bit later to see if I need to drain the cache pot or drip tray. This method also really helps if your soil has become hydrophobic.
0 LikesTry giving it bright indirect light if it has water. Don’t overwater to prevent root rot. Fertilize it at least once a month and more frequently in the spring/summer. Ensure the place you keep it has no cold drafts. Also, it could be stressed if it was recently purchased.
